Connaught Village chocolate lovers – your time has most definitely come! Artisan chocolatier Cocomaya has just opened in Connaught Street and is already wowing taste buds across London.

Founders Joel Bernstein, Gail Mejia and Walid Al Damirji have created a fabulous range of ‘single estate’ chocolate delicacies alongside traditional items including chocolate drinks, ice cream, brownies and cakes – all made using the rarest and finest cocoa beans.

The trio have also created a highly original store with green degrade-effect walls, reclaimed wood floor, marble top counters and pink highgloss display units. “Our chocolates have no artificial sugars or preservatives giving them a unique taste,” says Bernstein.

“Our chocolatier, Jonathan Suthee Phelk Deddis, creates everything on the premises. We have established a signature collection of chocolates and, additionally, we are already receiving bespoke orders.”
