Lennie Lee lives in Dalston. He is a painter, performer and mixed media artist with a passion for life, art and creativity.
His colourful house is painted inside and out. It is a local landmark, known for vibrant & colourfully painted external window ledges, where he curates one of the largest collections of counterculture in Europe. Lee's paintings, installations and performances have been shown internationally in museums, galleries and private collections.
His work has been exhibited at: Tate Britain, The Whitechapel gallery, The Barbican art centre, The ICA, 798 Beijing The National gallery in Stockholm, ARCO in Madrid, Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, Principe Filipe science museum in Valencia, The Kinsky Palace in Prague, Malmo museum, The Italian Pavilion & Venice Biennale.
