Robert Cazier

Robert Cazier is a self-taught artist who mainly works in digital but also escapes in canvases, paper and anything that can be drawn on.

Creating art since he was a kid, the main thing that attracted him was the viewer reaction to his work, it's what made him go further and gain courage and confidence that he can achieve something by putting his mind and his hands in the same place. He didn't graduate from art school because he wanted to remain as original as possible without being influenced by other artists. He feels like art doesn't need to be learned, it needs to be a liberation of your inner self.

By applying abstration he is tryig to increase the dynamic between the audience and himself by objectifying emotions and investigting the duality that develops between different interpretations.

His paintings never show the complete structire. This means that everyone can easily imagine their own interpretation without being hindered by the reality. By examining the ambiguity and origination via retakes and variations, he aims to create intense personal moments created by means of rules and omissions, acceptance and refusal, luring the viewer round and round in circles.

He would describe his works as painfully attractive, originating from a brainstorm of thoughts and feelings.
