A Short History of Fashion

The Dresser is an Aladdin’s Cave of preloved contemporary and couture classics.

Launching in the 1980’s The Dresser was home to iconic 80’s designers such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood and Gianni Versace.

In the 1990’s The Dresser relocated to Connaught Village with designer labels including Prada, Donna Karen and Dolce & Gabana replacing eighties power dressing. Come the new millennium ‘boho chic’ led by Kate Moss inspired a new generation of fashionistas to team high street buys with one off vintage items.

Now pre-loved McCartneys, McQueen, Jimmy Choo and couture classics including Chanel and Hermes decorate this treasure trove of a store.

The Dresser sits like a wise owl in Connaught Village, with its loyal clientele and a new generation of style savvy shoppers.
