De Roemer Takes The South Pole

Justin Packshaw, Managing Director and co-founder of the award-winning luxury brand – De Roemer – is passionate about travelling through some of the world’s most harsh environments. Exploring is just one amongst Justin’s many aspirational hobbies, including public-speaking, riding and philanthropy.

Having led many expeditions, from riding horses across Mongolia and motorbiking through Africa, to Antarctic trips and summiting Mount Everest, Justin is well-versed in an adventure. A lot of his practical training came as a result of his employment as an Officer in the British Army during the Gulf War.

One huge motivation behind Justin’s interest in exploring is to raise both awareness and money for causes he supports. To date, Justin and his team have raised over £10million for important social and environmental initiatives.

As an active ambassador for the British Government’s ‘GREAT’ Campaign, as well as The Prince’s Trust and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards, Justin is always pushing himself to discover more, help more and achieve more.

With the next leg of Justin’s Antarctic expedition approaching in December, the objective is the Geographic South Pole and the group will be journeying on foot, with all their equipment, spanning 4,110km from Punta Arenas to Antarctica. The plan is to reach the South Pole just before Christmas.

Over £500,000 has already been raised for The Prince’s Trust and Roundhouse Charities. This expedition raised a massive £685,000 towards the Prince’s Trust and Roundhouse charities.
