What inspired you to choose a career in bridal wear?

Our award winning designer Gill Harvey was already having great success with her evening wear collection that is created with some of the best hand beading in the world. When Gill and Andrea began to work together in 2012 they both decided that they wanted to be able to offer the bridal dress industry that same level of luxury and design that it was missing and we are now celebrating 10 wonderful years of Eliza Jane Howell.

What are the plans for your business in Connaught Village?

Our plans for the future are to come full circle and launch a spectacular evening wear collection. In recent years we have been dressing a lot more celebrities for red carpet events and TV appearances and now with parties and events back on track our evening wear has been in high demand!

Which women have inspired you most throughout your life?

A big inspiration for Gill in her career has been the renowned costume designer Edith Head.  The company is also named after Gill’s grandmother Eliza Jane Howell who herself had a career as a designer. Andrea’s personal style icon is Cate Blanchett and it would be a dream of ours to one day dress her!

What do you love most about being positioned in Connaught Village?

We love being part of Connaught Village because it has such a wonderful village vibe yet is just moments from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. It is a perfect oasis to escape for shopping and a bite to eat.
